The Saragolla wheat is a khorasan wheat grown and produced in Abruzzo since 400 a.D. It is a very healthy wheat thanks to its high protein and mineral content. It also contains elevated levels of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E, beta-carotene and selenium. This is why it has excellent antioxidant and anti-aging benefits.
It has a lower gluten strength which makes it easy to digest but unfortunately not suitable for coeliacs. To produce a high quality range of Saragolla Khorasan pasta we only use Saragolla wheat grown in Abruzzo, this is also a reason we can guarantee a short distribution chain.
